Thanx for the tip!
I wonder if this is gonna be an complete album. It's being presented like that a little bit. Check out his wikipage.

If you read only that you'd pressume it's a complete album. We'll see.

yeah, I'm one of the biggest Eric fans around, and on first listen, none of these new tracks does anything for me. I've been meaning to give it a 2nd and 3rd listen and hope it clicks with me, but we'll see.

Re: New Song From Eric
What's really frustrating are all the excellent unreleased Polar Bear songs that we never got finished versions of.
Imagine an album featuring good studio versions of these below songs plus "satellite" and "superzero" and maybe 1 or 2 more new songs.. that'd be a fucking great record!
Jig (unreleased studio recording, early '99)
"Mystery Bear" (unreleased studio recording, early '99)
Straw (live 4/23/98 - unreleased song)
Green (live 4/23/98 - unreleased song)
Ordinary (live 10/29/97 - unreleased song)
Daytime (demo '95 - unreleased song)
Things To Do When I'm Dead (live 2/1/96 - unreleased song)
Gone (live 97 - unreleased song)
NuBong (live 97 - unreleased song)
If you haven't heard these, there's mp3s on my site, http://somediverswhistle.com/ericavery/

Re: New Song From Eric
woah! thanks for posting about these. this is some really great stuff. man, it's so sad that polar bear didn't record a second album...they had a really cool and interesting sound...sort of like post punk trip hop. joy division meets portishead, or magazine meets massive attack. well, you can't really compare their sound to anyone they just had such an interesting blend of styles and vibes. sort of like...jane's addiction! thanks again. oh, and i really enjoy your website. you should make some new additions. your song info page with the quotes, etc. is great.
